ParticipantHi
I would like to link to existing products in Woocommerc. We have add on products like transportation and these are always the same so its an extra hassle to create these as new tickets for every event. Is this possible or is it another solution for this?

KeymasterHi Håkan,
Thanks for reaching out!
I definitely understand not wanting to enter repeat information. It sounds like you want to add the same link (to the WooCommerce product) on every event page, is that correct? If so, you can follow the instructions in our themer’s guide to copy the single-event.php template (found at/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/) into your child theme, and then from there you can just paste in the link along with any relevant text and styling, wherever you’d like it to appear.
I hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantIts not on every event. We sell for example transportation as an extra service for some of the events, same product every time…

KeymasterHi Håkan,
If you are trying to group/link tickets together with other products, there isn’t an out of the box way to do this, but you should be able to do it using a WooCommerce extension. I believe there might be a bit of customization required to get these “linked” products to display on the event page though – we have a knowledge article coming out on this soon, so I’ll be sure to link to it here when it’s published.
Alternatively, you could also do something like adding a shortcode to the event description that would give you an add to cart button for the product, or use additional fields to add a hyperlink to the product.
Does that answer your question? Please let me know if you need any help with this!
Thanks,
Jennifer
