Link to Event Submission Disabled

The link to submit an event to the community calendar was disabled after the latest WP release.
This can be found at the bottom right side of the homepage of http://www.singletogether.com.

When I use the permalink found in settings, it takes me to a blank page. The event page permalink listed in the settings section of my website is incorrect.
The link listed is: http://www.singletogether.com/events/local/list
The link that is correct is: http://www.singletogether.com/events/category/events-palm-beach/

I use a category to list events in case people want to list events for other cities. The category is Palm Beach. Perhaps this is part of the problem.

I also tried deleting the community events plugin and reinstalling it, but that did not help.

I figured out the problem. The updates from my plugin panel were not updating the community calendar. I needed to delete the plugin, manually download it from my account, and reinstall it.
