Hi,
It seems “The Events Calendar” (Version 4.5.5) and the pro (Version 4.4.4) both are removing target=”_blank” from all the links added via WYSIWYG editor in WordPress (Version 4.7.5). Is there a solution for this? Can you guys look into this please.
For example on this page, http://lhf.upfor.review/visit/ under “Military Discount”, I have a link to the Blue Star Museums page. I selected “open link in new tab” under the link options, but it opens on the same tab.
Good evening Breanna and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the links no longer opening a new tab.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that there are quite a few ways around this:
- https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/209506/how-do-i-make-images-open-in-a-new-tab-by-default
- https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/230417/open-link-in-a-new-tab-checked-by-default-when-adding-a-new-link-in-visual-post
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
Geoff B.

Thanks so much!
