Link in custom "text" field

I do not have a ton of experience in these things and I tried to search the forums.
I included a custom “text” field to my event templates, then when posting, I enter a URL to point to a new location but, the end result is the URL is not clickable. Here is a link to an example post: http://myfilmaddiction.com/event/a-thousand-words
The link I need clickable is the “Screen News”

Hey Christopher. Thanks for the note; happy to help here. I just tried this out and it worked fine on my end – so my guess is this was just an implementation error. On the backend entry admin page, in the text field for Screen News (which I configured as a “text” custom field), you’d want to enter your link like this:

Should appear fully functional/hotlinked from there. Let me know if you’re still having issues after giving this a go.
