Limiting Ticket/RSVP to 1

I just need to limit the qty of tickets someone to purchase to just 1. I saw a discussion with some code snippets but they no longer seem to work.

You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/075787fd6b427e1c47be0d756ca5b26c

But first, to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.

Good to be back and thank you! So I took the snippet of code you provided and placed it in a “functionality plugin.” And it seems I can still change the ticket qty number. http://recordit.co/GjHhVEydVG/gif/notify

The snippet I provided works for RSVP, but not for WooCommerce tickets.
You will need to add the following snippet to include them: https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/9a457b724e38b3036f8d48adc90930ed
