Limit the amount of characters that appear in list view

Is there an easy way to go about limiting the amount of words that a would be seen in list view?

Thank you for reaching out to us!

To achieve what you want and change the excerpt lengths please add the following snippet in the end of your theme’s functions.php file:

In this example your excerpt length will be changed to 300.
