Limit Calendar Preview Word Count

Hi, I’m wondering how I can go about limiting the word count when on the calendar page during hover over of an event. Currently it shows the entire event information but I’d like this to ideally be a few lines along with the event picture. Thanks for any help.

If you want to hand-craft the content in the hover, simply write an excerpt my friend.
On the Edit Event page, check your screen options to make sure that the Excerpt option is not hidden and then have at it. ECP will respect the authority of the Excerpt.
