    Hi,

We are getting notifications regarding our license (see attached screenshot), we are using The Events Calendar for our staging and development servers. Is there a cause for alarm?

Basically we are using the plug-in and its add-ons on a single domain but they are installed on our sub-domains (staging, developer and (soon) production instance).

Good afternoon Vince and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

There is no cause for alarm. In a nutshell, the license keys are only necessary to be able to update from wp-admin. They do not block functionality.

Here are 2 awesome articles on that topic:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
