Licensing for development server

We have a license for our production server. Is there any way to get it to also work on our development server, which is a clone of the production one? As it stands, we cannot update on our development server first for testing purposes because the license is tied to the other server. Is there any way to get it working for both? The development server is on a subdomain of the production server’s domain name.

Hi Kenny,

Thanks for your note. If you need to do automatic updates on the second site, you’ll want to upgrade to a Business level license. However, if you are willing to do manual updates you can just use the one license key. We’ve got a guide here that tells you how to use one license on both your development and production sites.
