ParticipantHello, we currently have no option but to have a site on a multi-site environment. I have the key installed on one site only and looking to test in a staging site. Is there an option to enable the license in this case without having to purchase a multi-site license? Thanks!

MemberHello Aaron
Do you want to use Events Calendar Pro on a WordPress multisite? This is different than multiple sites using a business license. Our pricing for that can be found on https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/.
Or, do you want to use your Pro license on a live site, staging, etc.?
To use your existing license on a staging site, some TLDs already will automatically work. If your host does not use these formats, you can still install the plugin, but manually update it and not enter a license on this staging site. Your content and testing will work as expected.
Hoping to help clarify this situation.
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂April 13, 2017 at 7:16 am #1269405Aaron
ParticipantHi Courtney,
Using in a multisite environment for one site only. Actually one site is
all that is in the environment, but unfortunately, we have to retain the
setup like it is for other things to function properly. So, we’ll just manually update. It’s on the same TLD though, FYI. But I’m
ok with that process. 🙂April 13, 2017 at 7:26 am #1269419Aaron

Your existing license can cover a multisite environment. However, it will not auto-update. Â We’re hoping to get that issue cleared up, but at this time a single license on a multisite doesn’t auto-update.
You can certainly still use it across a multisite up to the number of sites that your license supports. If you outgrow that limit, then a multisite license would be needed.
Hoping you’re site is off and running 🙂
