Hi! One of my WP Admin users is trying to import events from EventBrite, but she keeps getting this message:
http://screencast.com/t/1uaau8jQ467We don’t need multiple licenses of Tribe so that more than one WP admin users can import, do we??
I can import EB events, but she can’t – and we’re both WP admins on the site.
The other thing that’s strange is this:
http://screencast.com/t/c6V1HLSgBoth of us are getting this red warning message in our Admin panels. Maybe this has something to do with our problem? But it’s weird – I’ve got this red warning message and I CAN import from EB. She’s got the warning in WP and CANNOT import from EB. I don’t get it.
We both manage events on this site, so we BOTH need to be able to import from EB. Please tell us what we need to do to be able to do this? Thanks!

Sorry for the frustrations you are having.
The Eventbrite API key has to be added to each user account in their WordPress profile for them to be able to import Eventbrite Events.
Follow this process for each user you want to import events.

The Validation server message is something we are looking into, but that message does not prevent the plugins from working.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

March 5, 2015 at 6:33 am #946139BrianKeymasterDoes the API key work for other users? What role is the user that is not working? If you create a new API key just for that user does that work?
March 5, 2015 at 7:07 am #946149hopeforrecoverynhParticipantHi! Yes, it works for me. The other user is also set up as an admin.
When you say “create a new API key” – from EventBrite or from Tribe? Thanks!
March 5, 2015 at 10:47 am #946235BrianKeymasterMy bad, I mean a new Eventbrite API key.
March 27, 2015 at 8:07 am #951477BrianKeymasterSince I haven’t heard back from you here, I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread. Feel free to start a new thread if you have further issues. Thanks! 🙂
