License Question for site

Hello support,

Looknig to purchase for a church site that is hosted by a 3rd party provider though not a “rackspace”. Since I only have 1 site for the church, my understanding is I only need to purchase the Personal verison. I want to make sure I have this correct for the funding request. The web hoster does not need to be involved and they do not need to have a license correct? If I have missed anything please let me know.

You are absolutely correct here–it sounds a Personal license will be just fine for your needs, and only one person requires one for a given site. We typically recommend that licenses be purchased and retained by a representative of the given business/organization and not a web developer, since we’ve noted instances where customers lost contact with former developers and were unable to access their accounts. If you’re someone that would fit that description, you should be good to go!
