I have a ‘Pro’ license key for a domain still in development running on a staging site ( http://staging.mydomain.tld ) It is registered to mydomain.tld

I see a message reading “There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key has not been entered. Please go to the Events Calendar Options page to enter your license key. ” and follow the instructions. The key reports that it is valid but no upgrade is shown and when I return to the page the key field is empty again. Is it confused to be on a subdomin during development?

What should I do in order to upgrade?

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:

    Visit License Tab
    Enter License Key
You get a Green License Valid Message
You are then clicking “Save Changes”
Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” near the top of the page.

Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com

Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.

    Thanks

Maybe I clicked ‘save changes’ too fast before – seems to have saved properly now and the update worked! Thanks.
