ParticipantI’m attempting to move a site from a Single license to my Developer license. I disconnected the site from the Single, but now can’t find a place to enter the license key for my Developer license. Help?

MemberHi Todd,
Thanks for getting in touch. You’ve done just the right thing by disconnecting the Personal license from your site. The next step actually happens in your WordPress dashboard. Go to Events –> Settings –> License Keys, and you’ll see a text box where you can enter your new Developer license key. Let me know if you run into any trouble.
Cheers,
Leah

ParticipantIs there anything I can do to make the license key setting reappear?

MemberThe two most common reasons for it not to show are because you are running mismatched versions of the plugins or because you are on a WordPress multi-site. Can you confirm for me what versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO you are using?
If you are using a multi-site installation, you’ll only see the license key options on the main network site, not on the sub-sites.
Thanks for your patience while we get you set up.
Cheers,
Leah

ParticipantLooks like it’s a mismatch – they have Events Calendar 3.6.1 and Pro 2.0.11. We’ll try updating and see if we can get it to activate. Any “gotchas” we need to be aware of before upgrading?

MemberThat’s a big difference, I’m not at all surprised you’re not seeing the license key page. I’m honestly happy you’re not seeing even more issue! Updating should help everything run more smoothly, as well as giving you access to all the cool new PRO features.
Before you update, you’ll definitely want to read through this guide. You’ll only be updating PRO of course, but it should be helpful. You might also want to review the rest of the New User Primer, since there are a lot of changes.
Depending on your site, it’s very possible that the big changes we made in 3.0 will effect your site. I highly recommend updating on a test site if you can, so you can see any changes it makes to your template, etc. If you need help integrating with 3.0, you can start another thread for that topic and we’ll do our best to help out.
Thanks for your support!
Best,
Leah
