We currently have one Personal licence and one Business licence (for three accounts) and have now reached our limit. We are taking on a new client so we will need to upgrade our licences, but I’m not sure what is the best option.

Some of our clients use our multisite network, others do not. If I purchase a multisite upgrade, can some of the 10 licence keys also be used on standalone websites that are not part of that network? This would be ideal, rather than purchasing a multisite licence and a separate licence for the other sites.

Good evening Michael and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

I believe that in your situation, you will probably be better served by upgrading to the agency license than by upgrading to the multisite license.
The reason for this is because you can indeed split these 10 license keys anywhere you want to.

By contrast, the multisite license is really meant to stay on one multi-site network.
As a starting point, I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
