Hi, if we have multiple wordpress installs on one domain but under sub domains

e.g.

http://www.mainsite.com
member.mainsite.com
london.mainsite.com

would we have to get a licence for each sub domain or can we get one licence as its all on one domain ?

I would love to help you with this topic.

Technically speaking, each subdomain counts as a domain for the purpose of licensing.

For that purpose, people usually opt for a multisite license (which gives the added perk of being able to update from wp-admin).
