ParticipantHi,
I have purchased and activated the licence for EC PRO on my clients site. This was done during the development stage.
Now that the site has gone live I´m getting the following message when updating the plugin: “You have entered a license key for The Events Calendar PRO but the key is out of installs. Visit the Events Calendar website to to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.”
The site has been built on our webhosting account, where the site´s temporary address was the root of our hosting service (an IP address) + the temporary site name. After the site has gone live the address has been defined as the domain name of the client, even though the site is still in the same root directory.
My question is, do I need to disconnect my licence and re-activate it to the “new” site url and what are the possible problems doing this? The url the licence key is pointing to is still the same (the root IP address), but the site is directed to a specific domain, which is located on the same root directory, but now identified as the clients domain.
Any suggestion?

MemberHi Aleksi!
I can help you with this! It is no problem at all to disconnect the existing development site (IP Address) so that you can add the license to the live site.
It is the domain that is detected so even though the location hasn’t changed how you access the site has changed once you added the domain name.
Here’s a screenshot just in case you need it, but it sounds like you’re on the right track 🙂

Let me know if you have any questions or need any further clarification!
