Hi, just purchased PRO and have a conflict with a couple plugins. You can see at the bottom of this page how the layout runs into problems.

Ideally, I would like to get rid of the “Other posts you might like…” section, but that shows up in all my “Pages”, so it appears the “Events” is using my page templates. This section uses the “Contextual Related Posts” plugin. Any suggestions?

You will also notice a conflict with my Social Share buttons (using the “TF Social Share” plugin.) I would like to keep these buttons, but is there a way to edit the template so that this information spans the whole width of the post instead of just the left column?

Hey Joe. Thanks for the note on this one. While it sounds like the Contextual Related Posts issue might not be something we can easily help resolve (as it’d require jumping into the core files of one if not both of these plugins), you should be able to resolve #2. The easiest method to test would be going to Events –> Settings and changing to a different template under the Templates tab. Have you already given that a go?

I tried using a different template but with no luck. I ended up switching to 2 different plugins. Thanks.

Thanks for confirming as much, Joe. Sorry to hear you took a different route here but I’m glad you found a solution that meets your needs. I’ve also added those plugins to our list of known conflicts internally that we’re gradually working to resolve. No guarantees (as some of these problems are outside our control) but it’s good to know of conflicts so we can plan for them and guide users accordingly.

As always, please let me know if you need anything else here.
