ParticipantHi there,
I have recently purchased the Events Calendar Pro and the Filter Bar. I am quite happy with it, but I also have some issues, that I hope you can help me to solve:
My calendar is situated on this page: http://ny.playmakerne.dk/tilbud/
1 – At the top of the page the “Vis som” (“Show as”) button is crossing the line of the filter bar. How can I change this? Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARZDBRVmZGa1lrZGc
2 – When I search for events, the calendar only shows upcoming events for the chosen date. I would like the calendar to show ALL upcoming events for my search (or at least all future events in the following 12 months). How can I do that? (I have added a few events e.g. 25th of August and 7th of September). I asked this question in the pre-sale forum, and I was told that the calendar is supposed to show upcoming events, but this is not happening at my site. Have I done something wrong?
3 – I have added a custom field in the event description called “Tilmelding”. The field type is a link. When I write the URL, I write it for instance like this: “https://playmaker.nemtilmeld.dk/328/” Instead of making it a link, the event calendar turns it into a piece of code, that I can’t click. Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARU1pRa0hucU9JMlU
Is this a known issue in the calendar?4 – How can I remove the meta data footer (the grey box) under the calendar? I have no problem removing it in all other pages on my site, but I can’t find the place to remove it here. Can you help me? Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARNkNKNWhyck5ianc
5 – Some of the words in the event overview are not being translated into Danish. E.g.
Cost (should be “Pris” in Danish)
Venue name (should be “Sted” in Danish)
Organizer name (should be “Navn på arrangør” på dansk)I have looked through the translation page for the Events Calendar on wordpress.org. (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable/da/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc&page=1)
These words do not appear as being untranslated. So how can I translate this?

Kind regards

KeymasterHi Christine,
Thanks for going Pro! We are stoked to hear that you like our plugins.
I’m sorry you are having some issues. Let me try to help you solve them, so you will like our plugins even more. 😉
1 – At the top of the page the “Vis som” (“Show as”) button is crossing the line of the filter bar. How can I change this?
I believe this comes from the theme you are using. Can you try with a default theme like twentysixteen if you are experiencing the same?
2 – When I search for events, the calendar only shows upcoming events for the chosen date.
I checked your site and when I click on ‘Tilbud’ in the menu, then it properly takes me to the calendar and shows the ‘Day view’ with today’s date as a default. You can change that setting under Events > Settings > Display tab > Default view (Begivenheder > Indstillinger > Vis > Standardvisning). Try list view, I think that is the one you are looking for. 😉
Is this a known issue in the calendar?It’s not a known issue yet. Could you please test if this happens with a default theme?
4 – How can I remove the meta data footer (the grey box) under the calendar?
As a first, please check your widget areas how they are set up. The meta widget might be still hiding in one of them.
Other option is, you are using different page templates for the other pages. You can try changing this setting:
Events > Settings > Display > Events template
5 – Some of the words in the event overview are not being translated into Danish.
We are aware of some translation issues. I’m sorry for this. Some of those might be the victim of that. Our team is working on a fix, though I cannot commit to any date yet.
Meanwhile you can check our translation site, whether they are included or not, and you can propose / add new translations as well.
Let me know how these work out for you.
Cheers,

ParticipantThank you very much for your reply.
1 and 3 – I changed the theme to twentysixteen, and then there were no problems. I’ll try contacting Theme Forest, who has provided my theme, instead.
2 – List view was what I was looking for. Thank you 😉
4 – I still can’t find the place to remove the meta data. I checked the Widget area, and nothing seems to be hidden. Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARTDZaUVNUQjNGS0U
Then I checked which template the page is using. It uses the “Standardskabelon” just like all the other pages.
Screenshot 1: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARSzhfZlp4LUc2WEE
Screenshot 2: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B09lyBqL_pARUDBmUmVEbGpoU0UAre there other ways to solve this issue?
5 – Okay, I hope you will be able to fix it soon. I have discovered other problems with the translations. E.g.at the repeated events, it says: “Gentagne Begivenhed”. But in Danish it should be either “Gentaget begivenhed” (repeated event) or “Gentagne begivenheder” (repeated events) – in your version you mix up the two. Also begivenhed shouldn’t be written with a capital letter.
Thanks for your help

KeymasterHi Christine,
I’m happy to hear we got #2 fixed. And I’m sure the template creators will help you fix #1 and #3, shouldn’t be too big of a work.
On #4, there are still some options we can try.
Is the calendar page using the same template as the other 3 pages?
Did you try the other settings? Different combination of the settings (on the page and in Events > Settings)?
I’m not familiar with the theme you are using, but I see a Theme options section when you are editing the page. Is there maybe an option to disable the footer part where the widgets are?
As for #5, the guys are working on it.
Meanwhile, please, feel free to add / correct translations on our translation site. At the moment we don’t have a Danish speaker on our team, who could do that, so any help is appreciated.
Cheers,

ParticipantYes, the calendar page uses the same template as the three other pages.
There is a possibility to disable the footer part in the Theme Options. But although I have unchecked the box “Show Bottom Sidebar” it still appears, so I suppose something must be overruling this decision. (Unchecking this box is where I removed the meta data on the other pages, so I’m pretty sure that should be the place to do it normally).
I have tried changing the templates under Events > Settings, if that’s what you mean. They all show the meta data unfortunately. So I still don’t know how to remove this.

KeymasterHello again Christine,
Thanks for checking that option. It looks like it is overridden by the theme somehow, as you said.
It is possible to hide that whole bottom section on the calendar pages with a little css tweak. It will still be there in the code, but it will not be visible. Just paste this into your theme’s style.css file:
.post-type-archive-tribe_events #bottom {
display: none;
}
Let me know if this helps and is you have any followup questions.Cheers,
