Latest Update for Community Events Broke Comments

I see this is a known issue where some folks have recently upgraded and lost comments on their sites. Same with mine, I can turn off Community Events and comments come back.

Any estimated time on a fix?

This is indeed a known issue—sorry for the trouble!

The closest estimate I have for a fix is that a fix will hopefully arrive some time in the next two to three weeks if everything goes to plan.

I unfortunately don’t have any more specific information than that, and this is of course just an estimate that is subject to change.

I will update this thread with news about the fix!

Hey Craig, my apologies — it looks like we’ve actually included a fix for this in the Maintenance Release we just shipped today.

Try updating The Events Calendar and Community Events to version 4.4.1 on your site and let us know if it helps.
