ParticipantHi,
I just patched my site to the latest version of the pagelines framework as well as ECP 2.x from 1.3.2. I patched ECP first and the styling looked good under Pagelines 1.5.x but once I moved to 2.x my month calendar view is off. I also bought and installed the community events extension and am having styling issues as well with that. It seems like wp router is used to generate the pages on the fly? I basically can’t get rid of the widgets in the sidebar as I can’t figure out a way to control the layout of those pages. Take a look and let me know what you think:

MemberHello Jomar,
Are all your plugins and add-ons at their latest version? When you say you “patched ECP first” – did you do this in the child theme folder to ensure your changes wouldn’t be affected by future updates? For a good reference on how to customize the look of the calendar, you can check out our Themer’s guide, it has a lot of helpful info there: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
Does this happen with the Twenty Eleven theme?
Also, for your sidebars issue, have you set up the template you want to use in the settings area?
If you are trying to customize sidebar widgets to show up on specific pages, I personally enjoy using widget logic. Though if you are into some heavy coding you could create sidebars specific to a page or page template file.
Let me know if this helps!

ParticipantOK, I read through the themers guide and learned that the events template is not meant for this purpose. I had to set my default template to full width and then reconfigure all my pages that had sidebars so now it looks good. The only questions I have is in regards to the community events plugin. I have not submitted any events myself, but was wondering if the community events list page should look like this?

It seems like I’m redirected to this page:
http://www.fxw.org/WP_Router/wp-router-placeholder-page/1/
Not sure if that’s expected behaviour?
Thanks

MemberHello Jomar,
Sorry about that – we actually know about this problem and are releasing a fix update for it very soon – like maybe by the time you read this!June 20, 2012 at 3:36 am #20889Jomar McDonald
ParticipantNice. I actually just read about it in the community events forum and thought I’d respond here to save you the trouble but you beat me to it.
Thanks!

MemberOh that’s wonderful! I was just going to post the link to it but I guess you figured it out! You can go ahead an update in your WordPress plugins page. It was an issue that started with 3.4
