I am am evaluating Events Calendar Pro (With Woo Tickets) for a project. The project is for a large sports league with tournaments and events. The desired functionality of the site would be as follows:

–> Setup up multiple events, some free some pay (via paypal standard or pro)
–> A parent can setup a master account and then register one or more of their children for the event. Each child would need to fill out questions at registration. Basically we are aiming to allow one user to register multiple people under one account, however, the parent would not be counted as a ticket only the children.
–> Can a user register for more than one event once they are logged in. Meaning, If a parent comes to the site and registers her two children for an event, can the parent then register for another event in the same transaction, kinda like adding the events registration to a cart for one checkout?
–> Print our rosters/attendee lists for each event
–> Manually enter/edit attendees and answers to questions.
–> Enable user to review past events they registered for and print it out.

Could you let me know the feasibility of this?

    THANK YOU!!!

I think a combination of The Events Calendar and WooTickets (plus WooCommerce of course) would get you 90% of the way there.

Multiple tickets per event can be purchased (and like other products they may either have an actual cost or be free). Customers can also have user accounts generated for them (for repeat purchases or, in this case, “registrations”) – though that is really a facet of WooCommerce rather than our stuff.

Printing and exporting attendee lists is supported and you should be able to manually create new orders through WooCommerce and see that reflected in WooTickets automatically.

Some things would require customization work, however, such as adding additional fields at checkout (if that is how you envision grabbing that extra info you need at point of registration).

Regarding payment modes, our plugins have no control over that but you should generally be able to use any gateways supported by WooCommerce (and its range of addons).

I hope that broadly answers your questions, but let me know if you need me to clarify anything 🙂

This is very helpful. A question. You mention:

“Some things would require customization work, however, such as adding additional fields at checkout (if that is how you envision grabbing that extra info you need at point of registration).”

Is possible to grab this info on the event/product page? In its ideal The user would select 4 tickets from a pull down and there would be an area for the parent to fill out there info (just collected but not a ticket) and then 4 additional areas to collect info for each player. The additional info would be both contact and some survey information (gender, medical issues, etc.)

    Thank you!

Definitely possible, yes, but not something our plugins will facilitate “out of the box” – you’d primarily need knowledge of developing with WooCommerce to build this sort of customization (or else work with someone who is already au fait with its workings).

Not a massive effort, I wouldn’t think, but it’s not something we would really be able to help too much with, either.
