    Hi

On our site we have the WP Globuis language plugin activated.
    Suddenly – after the last update of your event plugin – the eventdescription begins with a shortcode or something {:no}
It stays the same regardless of which language you wiew the page in.
Can you help me remove this?

Good afternoon and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.

However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.

But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar or perhaps consider the purchase of one of our premium plugins to get access to premium support ?

With that in mind, please note that we do not support integration with WP Globus at this point.
The only multilanguage plugin we do support is WPML: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

That being said, I know some of our customers have had success integrating with Polylang (although that is not supported for now).

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Thank you.

To clarify – your plugin works great with WP Globus!
The only bug is that it displays this tine “codesnippet” as spesified above…
So if any of you know how to “hide” this snippet with css – it will be perfect.

As I checked off at the beginning this was a “Pre-Sales Questions” as we like the plugin, but needen some answers before upgrading to the pro version. We have been using the Events Manager until now.

    Thanks again

    PS!
I also have an issue with the listing of events in your plugin – the “Title” colum is somehow comressed to a single ter file which makes an overwiew and editing evemnts difficult.
Will this be fixed if we upgrade to Pro?

The “title” colum is displayed as normal in pages and blog: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aa0msswss6b7whf/Skjermbilde%202017-05-03%2010.16.21.png?dl=0

    Good evening,

That is excellent news. Who knew ?
    Thank you for sharing this.

The only bug is that it displays this tine “codesnippet” as spesified above…

What is probably going on is that WP Globus has a filter that strips away those language tags.
The best thing would be to look up their documentation or simply ask them what that filter is so that you can apply it to tribe-events post types.

So if any of you know how to “hide” this snippet with css – it will be perfect.

Alas, CSS will not cut it here.

You would need some kind of filter (code snippet) in your theme’s functions.php file.
Something not unlike what you can find at the bottom of this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

I also have an issue with the listing of events in your plugin – the “Title” colum is somehow comressed to a single ter file which makes an overwiew and editing evemnts difficult.

This is caused by a plugin (probably Yoast SEO) adding columns in wp-admin.
You can adjust this by using the “Screen options” menu at the top right corner of your screen while in the events list page in wp-admin.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
