    Hi there,

I’ve been using the event calendar pro+tickets+aggregator since about a month, a few days ago purchased the pro versions for all 3, and tried importing events vis CSV.

thing is that when I do all my text turns to “gibrish” – the language my text is at is hebrew, and seems the add-on does not support it.

is there a way around this? anything I can do?
if not, the add-on and entire plugin are useless to me.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! This type of issue with non-English CSV imports has been known to occur due to encoding errors introduced by one or more of your applications. In particular, Numbers and Excel on Mac platforms do not keep CSV encoding intact when files are opened with these applications, which causes our importer to pull values with the wrong character set. We recommend following these steps to ensure that your CSV files will be imported correctly:

    1. Upload your CSV files to Google Drive to allow them to be parsed by Google Sheets and “reset” their encoding.
    2. Make any necessary changes to your files before saving.
    3. From the File menu, select Download as > Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).
    4. DO NOT OPEN THE DOWNLOADED CSV FILES. Import the CSV files that you have saved from Google Drive directly into The Events Calendar using Event Aggregator. This should ensure that the correct encoding is preserved, and your scripts should be properly viewable when your events are brought in.

Let me know if following these steps helps to resolve your issue here! 🙂 Thanks again!
