Hello – we had problems with ‘white screen of death’ after I uploaded new dutch language files and changed the language setting in wp language settings general to Dutch.
After deactivating all other plugins through ftp by moving them to a non-active plugins folder we could work again on the admin panel and we were able to set language back to English.
But of course I still want my calendar in Dutch…
    How to fix this?

    Hi roi,

Sorry to hear it was a less than seamless experience :-/

After deactivating all other plugins through ftp by moving them to a non-active plugins folder we could work again on the admin panel and we were able to set language back to English.

So was this a conflict with another plugin? In other words, do you find the same problem occurs when you are running only a default theme, The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO?

It was Woocommerce that caused the problem. Now everything is in Dutch as it should be. I will tell the VanTam guys that this causes problems. Meanwhile I cannot use the donation button because it needs Woo.

OK. I’m surprised to hear that WooCommerce by itself would conflict in this way: one of our addons depends on WooCommerce and we regularly work with and test it – and have users who work with it in other languages – but haven’t been aware of any white-screen-of-death issues.

Perhaps the conflict lies a little deeper and relates to another addon or something of that order?

At any rate, it does sound like the problem lies with something other than The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO and with that in mind – and since you marked this as resolved – I will go ahead and close this thread.

If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only to happy to help 🙂
