Keyword Flitering of Aggregated Events?

Hi,

I’ve recently purchased and set up the events platform and I’m pulling in events via Facebook primarly. With my site I am only interested in aggregating “cycling events”. My calendar and site is https://bikebible.cc/events/.

I’ve found some events I’d like to import on organiser pages, but this particular organiser runs loads of different events, not just cycling.

Orangiser Main URL > https://www.facebook.com/pg/theedenproject/events/
Example Cycling Event > https://www.facebook.com/events/291731364564330/

My questions is “Is there an option or anyway to use the primary organiser event URL as above, but to specify keywords such as cycling, mtb, moutainbike, bike ride etc, so that we are only pulling in relevant/pertinnent events?

Any advice of pointers would be greatly appreciated. If this isn’t available/possibly, could it be added as a priorty feature request? I’m surely not alone in needing to do this.

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

That’s a great question you have there and it would be an awesome feature.

Unfortunately at the moment Facebook does not support keyword filtering through its API so we cannot implement this. Once Facebook changes this I’m sure it will not take long for us to implement that.

I’m sorry I cannot give you better news on this at the moment.

Though it is more cumbersome you can still import the events one-by-one based on their url.
