Michelle
ParticipantI keep getting the error “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 81 bytes) ” when trying to view anything past the month of February 2016 in month view on my calendar.
I’m updated to the latest version (this issue also occurred on the previous version) and have tried every solution suggested on the forums for this issue (changing memory limits in wp-config, changing PHP memory limits on the web host, disabling all plugins, changing back to default themes, etc).
Both the memory limit in wp-config & on my host is set to 256Mb (that’s the max my host will allow). Not sure what to take as a next step….

ParticipantHey @Michelle,
I’m sorry to hear about this!
This is definitely not the norm, and I cannot recreate this sort of behavior, so I would recommend opening a dialog with your web host to try and see if they can spot anything more specific about what The Events Calendar is doing that is causing this sort of massive memory leak…
I’m sorry that that’s the best I can recommend at this moment, but unfortunately it’s hard to say why your server would be acting this way because we don’t have (and cannot have) any access to the server itself for more hands-on investigation.
Let me know if you can open such a conversation with your web host and, if so, what they say about all of this.
Sincerely,
GeorgeDecember 17, 2015 at 2:26 pm #1043192Michelle
ParticipantHi George –
I opened up a ticket with our webhost and unfortunately all the info they could give me was that the Events Calendar & Events Calendar Pro are definitely using up all 256Mb available to PHP.
Since I’m not able to give you access to our webhost server, are there any tools/scripts/whatever available that would give me more insight into just what exactly is causing the memory leak with these two plugins?
Thanks!

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this @Michelle 🙁
I’m curious, how many events do you have? Do you have a few dozen, a few hundred, a few thousand, a few thousand per month? Etc.
Also, how are you hosting your website specifically? Who is your webhost and what hosting plan are you currently using?
Thanks!
