If and event is past the event/post is gone, why is there no history?, valuable data is lost when de old events are deleted?

When an event has passed it is not normally displayed any longer, however it should remain in the database and be present in the list of event posts when you are logged in as an administrator.
Are you experiencing something else?
Barry, it is also not in the event list if I am logged in, it;s just gone, the problem I have is that people leave comments on events and those are gone too 🙁 AND I re-use information if an event is comming back at a later time, now that info is gone and I cannot re-use it. Is it possible to make a history column in de back-end in the next version? If is is still in the DB this should not be to hard to implement?

If I look at your calendar for this month I can still see events from 4 March through to 8 March … are you finding that events are purged when the month changes, or after a period of n days?
Not yet, I hope they stay, but that would be a nice feature to set, lets say delete all events after n day’s 🙂 can you put this in the next version please ? 🙂 THX!

We can definitely put the suggestion forward for the team to consider.
Regarding the original problem, again I looked at the calendar and past events (from March 4 for instance) are still present – is it looking like this issue is resolved/is there any further information you can provide?
