Hello
Any idea where this comes from?

There are a few potential places where odd extra characters like this could come from.
First, have you made any customizations to core code within The Events Calendar, or any Pro add-ons? If so, look there, and look for any stray “K”s that might be in the files where you were editing.
Next, head to your Events Settings page, and look at the Date Format settings (like in this screenshot → https://cloudup.com/c8jCCxdyNeT) – do you notice any “K”s in any inputs here? If so, try removing them and seeing if that helps at all.
Let us know what you find!

No, no custom coding done or any editing to the addons and plugin.
This is my date format settings: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s138/sh/07594b1a-0b8f-43d7-8088-f75454485296/c89f52e45c2fc08d197dd5da017176cbOnly edited the date-time seperator as you can see and the date format.
But doesn’t appear to be that as it just writes the K and not Kl. (which means time of day in danish)René

If you remove the K in the field you pointed out in that screenshot, do the K’s in front of your dates go away?
Thanks!
GeorgeApril 12, 2015 at 1:54 am #954847renesejlingParticipantHey.
The K is gone if I remove it yes. But there is probably an error in the field as it should of course just print what is entered in that field right? It works with a dash and the @ symbol.
Thanks

I’m glad removing the K helps – there is not an error in the field, as far as I’ve been able to test, because characters like @, -, +, &, and even random letters like K are allowed, and are supposed to be.
Basically, any letter that is a valid PHP Date parameter will be processed as a date symbol. These symbols are all here, if you’re curious → http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
So any symbol other than those is just left as-is, including other letters.
I’m glad you resolved your issue here! I’ll close up the ticket for now, but if other issues or questions arise, come back and open a new ticket at any time 🙂
Cheers,
