ParticipantHi,
I’ve recently bought your plugin and 2 addons, and encountered some issues while setting up my site. I decided not to open various topics, just to number the issues here, and hopefully you can handle all of them in one place 🙂
My site is using the Be theme (http://themes.muffingroup.com/), and the ECP is translated by me (as there was no downloadable translation in my language).These are my issues:
Community addon
1: I was able to change the permalink for the calendar and the community upload. But cannot change the permalink for /add and /list. I need these translated as well.
2: While there is a “Tribe Events Styles” stylesheet for ECP, the layout of the community event upload page is hugely affected in my case by the theme css. Is there any method to force the original css like in the case of the calendar page?Filter bar
3: When resetting filters to the default the language of the page changes back to English. This seems to be a bug.
4: All the text to be displayed is stored in the po files – it would be great if you could store the name of the filters there as well, instead of being able to translate them in the settings/filters page.ECP
5: I was able to change the permalink for organizer and event using the provided add_filter code. How can I change the permalink for the different views on the calendar? Translating them in the po files will change the link I am referred to when clicking on map let’s say (after translating it to terkep it leads to /calendar/terkep), but I get error 404. Strangely after translating list to lista that view alone is displayed correctly.
6: When customizing css I understand that I need to put a tribe-events.css in the plugin/tribe-events directory. Once it was working, but I had to restore the site to an earlier version, and after copying the css to the same place again it doesn’t work anymore.
For example this code has zero effect on the actual layout:
.single-tribe_events a.tribe-events-gcal {color: #bf2026;}
.tribe-events-button.tribe-active:hover {background-color: #bf2026;}
Anyway, this is probably me messing up something, but I’d appreciate any input you might have.Thank you for the assistance in advance.

MemberHi kiralybalazs,
Welcome to the community 🙂
We will be only too happy to help – but you’ve asked a lot of questions and normally we request that users stick to one issue per thread to avoid confusion and to ensure fair service for all of our customers.

OK. They are formed out of translated strings – so as long as they are covered in your .po/.mo file you should be good on this count. Would it be possible to explore this approach?
Remember to visit your Permalink Settings page (to “flush” the permalink rules) before testing this.

ParticipantWell, I tried changing the po files, refreshing, etc. Now my month and photo permalink is working fine. Map is not – I cannot seem to find it in any of the .po files (maybe you can help me with this). I found “Map” in the ECP lang file, translated it, but apparently it only changes the label where I can select the view.
I changed add, list and modify in the community po file, uploaded it, refreshed permalinks, and it doesn’t work still.

When you say it doesn’t work, just to be clear, do you mean the permalinks are being formed as expected but result in 404s? Or that you are still seeing English-language slugs for words like “add” and “list”?
Can make your custom .mo and .po files available for download and provide me with the link so I can take a look?
Thanks!

MemberAh hah!
Thanks for your perseverance so far, Balazs. Unfortunately there is indeed an oversight in our code – we are trying to use the translated string for those URL slugs, but we do this before the textdomain is loaded.
I’ll log this as a bug and we’ll get a fix out as soon as we can. In the meantime, can you try uploading, installing and activating this plugin which will potentially offer you an easy means of resolving this until the official fix is delivered?
Thanks!

MemberHi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks!
