    It seems that many people are having problems with 3.2 and WP 3.7.1 and not many are getting answers. I’m sure you are looking into all the issues, but maybe a note to everyone saying that would ease our minds a bit. Getting no answer at all just makes the using of this forum very frustrating. A link to 3.1 for a temporary fix so that our sites are not left looking like we are unprofessional hacks would be nice too.

    Hi there,
    Be aware Modern Tribe normally operates support during weekdays, Monday to Friday. A few volunteers of the support team, such as myself, man the forums over weekends. On a limited manpower basis, we do attempt to hit as many new tickets as we can, but our existing tickets always take precedence over this. As such, we haven’t been able to get to everyone’s 3.2-related tickets just yet.

    As for the lack of a sticky thread, we’re working on that. I don’t have the permissions to be able to add one at the current second), else I would have added one a bit sooner.

    We are aware currently of users experiencing issues regarding tags, and sliders being broken.

    Given Monday is a national holiday for (mainly) US based support team, and given the volume of tickets coming in, we are anticipating a bit of a delay before we can get through everyone’s tickets starting on Tuesday.

    Chris, might I once again suggest that Tribe stop releasing new versions just before a long weekend. It seems to me this happened last time there was a release that caused problems for people and of course no one can get answers because it is a holiday.

    sdep: you make an excellent point. We’re hitting threads as actively as we can, but it’s clear we’re failing to deliver to user expectations. Accessing 3.1 in the interim should actually already be doable by clicking the Download link under Account Central in the upper right-hand corner here. Does that get you what you need?

    Hey yvrmark. Thanks for the note here. As I mentioned in the other thread, we generally try to release no later than Wednesday to ensure we have Thursday/Friday to reply to support concerns that come up. But you make a great point here and – since this does appear to be something that’s upsetting to the community – we’ve decided that as a policy going forward we won’t release updates (even fairly minor ones like this batch) before a holiday weekend. Thanks for your feedback in making this happen and my apologies for the poor experience you’ve faced so far.

    As is always the case, if folks aren’t satisfied with the customer support they’re receiving or the quality of the code, a refund offer is and will remain on the table for all voices in this thread. I don’t want to hold you guys up from getting your sites out the door and would rather get you what you need to find a better solution.

    I’m going to close this thread, as both issues have been responded to and it’s not really a support issue to begin with. But if either of you guys have further thoughts or would like to continue the discussion please don’t hesitate to email me directly – rob (@) tri.be.
