MemberI just advised my client to purchase a site license for the Events Calendar PRO plugin but we are already coming across some major issues which will prevent us from using your plugin without spending much time debugging.
So far, they are:
1) Date issue on calendar where current date doesn’t populate correctly (2.02 patch didn’t fix it)
2) Events are not appearing in the event list after being added (though they are in the database and are also included in the count All(4) | Published (4))
3) Events are not showing up in the calendar at /events/ even though recurring events have been added and they are in the databaseWe are running WordPress 3.3.1 and version 2.0.2 of the Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar plugins. The theme is a slightly modified version of Twenty Ten 1.2.
Any feedback would be much appreciated. And even suggestions of other tools that are more compatible. The main client requirement was to enhance the WP Calendar with recurring events.
Thanks,

MemberHi Jamie. Thanks for the note; generally since 2.0 went live, we haven’t been spending any QA time or resources testing against the 2010 theme because it’s since been replaced by the 2011 theme (which has become the standard for fresh WP installs across the board). Is there a reason your client hasn’t upgraded to the 2011 theme? My guess is that right off the bat, the majority of your issues are related to that. It is also possible that there is another plugin conflicting…although that’s not as likely as the theme issue, it’s worth knowing what other plugins you’ve got active and whether you have an environment to test this with no other plugins active.
On the specific issues you noted:
1) Can you elaborate on this? Is this the start time issue, or something else?
2) This is not an issue that we’ve had reported yet; my guess is it’s related to my point above.
3) Ditto #2.Hope this helps. Let me know whether you’re able to upgrade the theme to 2011 (or even, just revert to the basic 2010 without your modifications to see if they’re conflicting) and if the issues persist. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

MemberThanks for the quick response, Rob.
I am taking over from another developer who unfortunately created a custom theme for my client, using “twenty ten” as the base. It will likely take too much time (and cost) for me to determine which elements of the custom theme can be overwritten by the newer “twenty eleven” files, so I am going to suggest that she use the default WP calendar or go another route. Would it be possible to refund her the single license fee in that case?
Cheers,

MemberHey Jamie. Totally! Sorry to hear that the integration process would be against what this client wants; totally understandable though. If you have the client’s Tri.be receipt (or Paypal receipt) handy and want to shoot that over to rob at tri.be, I can get going on the refund process for you.
