    Hi,

in version 3.12.6 of the Events Calendar Pro plugin I discovered several issue which I want to highlight here:

    1. Untranslated phrases:
In the plugin there are 2 phrases that are not translated:

Unfortunately in the repository (http://translations.theeventscalendar.com) there is nothing to translate:

It looks that the phrases need to be added to the repository!

    2. Textdomains
There are five textdomains used in tribe-events-calendar-pro-de_DE.po:

    a) I guess the textdomain “tribe-events-pro” is wrongly used (instead of “tribe-events-calendar-pro”)

    b) Is the “default”-textdomain really needed?

“current_post” and “class” looks both like a php-function or variable to me.

    c) I’m not 100% sure if it is the right approach to use several textdomains in one .po/.mo-file (maybe it’s better only one textdomain is used by .po-file). Maybe you want to review this.

    Best regards,
    Oliver

    Hey Oliver!

Thank you for reporting all of this. In your other threads you reported some bugs and we are working on those closely! Here, however, the numerous text domains you show in your screenshot do not come from one file.

They are separate domains for separate pieces of software, and so this separation of strings is by design.

I will log the issues of the strings not translating that you highlighted though – thank you for highlighting these!

I will close this thread – please keep all followups in the following thread: theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/issues-with-german-translations-in-tec-3-12-6/

That will help us keep things organized here.

    Cheers!
    George
