ParticipantI updated and am now having issues.
The calendar widget is no longer working.
When I go into the settings for Events, it tells me “Sorry, this key is out of installs.” but my license is good until Mar 31st, 2015.June 16, 2014 at 9:05 am #229570Barry
MemberHi – sorry you’re hitting difficulties.
Is it possible you are using the wrong key? It looks like you have both a personal and a business license. Might you have used your personal license on more than one site? If so, it’s easy to clear up – just visit the license management page, clear your installs and then re-apply the licenses.
The calendar widget is no longer working.
I can see a list widget in the sidebar and certainly on the home page it seems for some reason to display a link to the homepage itself … is that the issue you are referring to?
If so, is this something that changed recently? Did any updates (whether to our plugins, other plugins, your theme or WordPress itself) – or settings changes – occur right before this problem surfaced?
Thanks!

ParticipantI didn’t do anything with the license. It just quit working. What you suggested (disconnecting and then adding it to the site again) seems to have worked though. Thanks.
The other issue with the widget started when I did the updates.June 16, 2014 at 11:11 am #229763bluepixeldesign
ParticipantI went in and removed the widget I had and added a new one exactly the same and for whatever reason the right events are now showing. Unfortunately my styling isn’t quite working… there’s a dot or bullet point there after the title now.

MemberHi! Glad you’ve sorted out most of those issues.
With regards to this events list widget, is it possible you have a template override in place, as I can see other customizations such as a tribe-events-pro.css stylesheet which is being loaded. Is that possible and does this relate to that customization (can you try temporarily removing it)?
The reason I ask is that the structure of the HTML looks a little different to that which currently ships with the plugin and in your site each event is contained in a list item – but is not part of an ordered list, or any sort of list element, as is the default (and this could relate to the stylistic problems we’re seeing).

Member…to be clear, I meant that if you have a custom event widget template please try removing that – rather than your custom tribe-events-pro.css file.

MemberHi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks!
