ParticipantHi,
I’ve updated Events Calendar and Pro, filter bar, community to latest version but after updating, homepage is not showing any events http://events.careers/events/. I’ve checked with firebug and it is showing ‘undefined is not a function’ error in your plugin’s jquery script. Please help. Also, events that are submitted on frontend (using Community) are going to Drafts instead of automatically being published, even though EC settings page has the Publish option selected.
Thanks.

MemberHi – I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties here.
It looks like the page is actually cutting off before it completes (possibly due to a fatal error) and so the Javascript issue you referenced may simply be a side effect of that.
Would it be possible for you to run through our standard troubleshooting steps here (essentially, deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default, unmodified theme) to see if you can identify any conflicts?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello there! Thank you for your reply. We disabled the plugins, and we didn’t see any conflicts. The Drafts / published issue is still there. Events that are submitted on frontend (using Community) are going to Drafts instead of automatically being published, even though EC settings page has the Publish option selected.
Re: the homepage, our developer was able to fix it, but it’s not a plugin conflict.
Please help. Thank you kindly.

MemberHi Rachel – just for the avoidance of any doubt can you confirm that after disabling all other plugins you also tried switching to a default, unmodified theme?

ParticipantHi Barry, Yes. We’ve deactivated all plugins and used the default theme but the issue is still there. Events submitted are being sent to Drafts even though this plugin’s settings has the Publish option selected.
Please help. Thank you.

MemberHi Rachel,
So that second issue with Community Events is actually a known bug that we’re hoping to solve in the very next release. In the meantime you could try out the strategy provided here as a temporary workaround – does that help?
