ParticipantI’m going to apologise in advance as I know that my issue is due to a conflict with the theme I am using, but I was hoping you might be able to give me an ide of what the conflict could be so I can get a useful response from the theme support desk. Basically, if I select either Map or List view from the search bar here http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/?post_type=tribe_events then it goes to a really weird page. I am also unable to search unless I enter search criteria into the date, search and location fields – if I enter search criteria into just one or two of the fields I am unable to search. It all works fine if I move to a default theme, so I know it is the theme that is causing the issue but unless I can give the theme support a more specific idea of what is conflicting they are unable to help me. I really do need to get this working and any help you could give in identifying the issue would be very much appreciated.

Participantafinterecomms,
Thanks for getting in touch! First of all, I’m noticing that you’re using the default permalinks with your site, which is generally discouraged. Try going to to ‘Settings->Permalinks’ and changing your permalinks to something more friendly. Then you should be able to access your Calendar at this URL: http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/eventsSecondly, regarding your search issue, I’m not able to replicate your problem. I’m able to switch to the List view and search with no problems. Are you still experiencing this issue? Just let me know. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi Casey,
Haven’t got around to changing the permalinks yet 🙂
Sorry, I hadn’t tested it in any other browser than IE10 – it is working fine in Safari, Chrome, etc, but it is IE10 that I am having issues with.May 19, 2014 at 7:17 am #166101Casey
Participantafinterecomms,
Let me know when you’re able to change the permalinks, and then I’ll investigate further if you’re still having issues. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantHi Casey. I have updated the permalinks, and am still having issues with IE10.

Participantafinterecomms,
Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this IE10 issue is a problem with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantHi Casey,
I have moved to the 2013 theme, and the good news is that list and map view are sorted, but I am now having problems with Day view (sorry!) 🙂

Participantafinterecomms,
Could you be more specific, or give me a screenshot of the issue you’re having? I’m seeing everything work correctly here on this page: http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/events/today/?tribe-bar-date=2014-06-12Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi Casey. This issue happens if, when on the Events page http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/events/ and select Day from the View As menu (screenshot here – http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/screenshot1.jpg)within the event search bar. The URL this takes you to is http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/events/today/ which, in IE10, gives me an “Oops this link appears to be broken” message (screenshot here – http://test2.intouchsystems.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/screenshot2.jpg). This link works fine in Safari / Chrome.

ParticipantAre you still having this issue, because I’m able to view that URL in IE10 with no issues (screenshot). Just let me know, and I’ll troubleshoot further. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi Casey,
I have tried on another computer, on a different Wi-Fi network, and am not having these issues – I will get our IT department to look into this.
Thanks for your time in looking into this 🙂

ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://m.tri.be/jw
Thanks in advance. 🙂
Cheers,
