    Hello,

    I have recently purchased Pro, but realized upon setting up there seems to be some conflict between the month view tooltip and the Gantry 5 theme.

    There are no JS errors being generated, the tooltip just doesn’t show up. The JS for the tooltip template seems to generate fine.

    The tooltips do work with the default them but this isn’t any option, unfortunately.

    Hey Justin,

    Thanks for posting your question!

    Since the tooltip works with the default themes, I’d suggest reaching out to your theme developer for support with this issue, as we, unfortunately, can’t support theme conflicts on this forum. There are a couple reasons for this:

    1. There are thousands of WordPress themes, and testing with all of them just isn’t logistically possible for our team.
    2. We have to keep the lines of this forum clear for resolving issues with the out of the box features and functionality of our plugins, and for fielding bug reports.

    Yes and normally I would have just troubleshot it myself, however there are no errors generated making it difficult.

    Can I at least get some explanation of how the tooltips are triggered so I can look into it?

    Hmm well, I don’t think that applies here as styling the tooltip will not help since it does not show up at all.

    The template for each tooltip does not even get generated…

    Turns out the issue is there is a class the tooltip function is looking for on the body tag, events-gridview, that is not getting added properly by the events calendar plugin.

    Several other classes are added by the plugin so I am not sure why that one is not added, but whatever function it is is not compatible with gantry 5.
