We are having some issues with the ‘Events From’ search on our site. When we choose a date, for example 4/10/16, and filter the results it is returning results for 3/5-4/10. I believe it should show all event STARTING with 4/10.

Thanks for reaching out and yes, indeed there’s something not working as expected with the events bar. When browsing the events page I see it’s showing events from March instead of starting in April, so probably something wrong with the site’s date config.
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end (mark reply as private).
Also, if you go to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Date format, Do you see the current date in the date format samples?

Upon further investigation, this seems to be related to the group of events that have older start dates, but end dates in the future. For example, one event started 3/5 and ends 5/1, so when we use the ‘from’ filter and the date is in that range, it puts the March 5th date as the start date of the filter since that event is included.
Is that default behavior? I didn’t find any conflicts and everything is up to date, so I’m thinking that is default behavior and we just need to adjust the event dates or make them some sort of recurring event.
Thoughts?

Thanks for following up! What you describe is correct, I didn’t noticed it on your site but you seem right about it. I tested it locally (with latest versions of the plugins and default theme) and in fact it’s the default behaviour of the calendar.
If you could restructure events to avoid this, it would be great! In case this is not possible for your project then I can suggest other ways around this but mostly sure they will involve custom coding we might not be able to support/develop for you, just point you in the right direction.
