Issue with Events Calendar PRO 3.5.2. licence

I’ve only just bought the licence but my site is telling me this – please explain:

The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.5.2. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?

My account, however, says that the expiry date is 8th May 2015. However it was on a test directory when it was installed, so if that is the issue how do I resolve it.

I am happy to help you with this.

That error might be showing up if you have update either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO to 3.6.1, and yet the other plugin is still on 3.5.2. You must update both simultaneously. If you are unable to update PRO because of a license issue, then follow this tutorial for disconnecting it from a test/dev site, and connecting your license to the actual site.
