Is there a way to use the shortcode [tribe_events] and filter by state

Hi,

Is there a way to use the shortcode [tribe_events] and add it something like this :
[tribe_events state=”Texas”]

I would a map that display only events where the venue is in Texas (i know i could use category to do it but i need category for someone else)

Is there a way ?

Thanks for emailing support!

There are no default shortcode attributes for limiting events by state. However, you are correct and then the proper workaround would be to apply the state name/location as a category to the events and segregate them that way.
