is there a concept of a minimum event count?

Lets say I am offering educational classes/events – but I need the class to “make” Is there a feature that gives a minimum count concept to an event?

I’m not sure I understand exactly what you need to accomplish. Could you please explain what the “make” concept would be?

I don’t think this is a built-in feature of our plugins, but it may possibly be something achievable with a minor customization.

clarification: To “make” a class would mean that you are offering a class – for lets say $25 fee. But the venue is charging $50 for the event – and I’d like to make at least $100 for the effort – so in this instance, I would need at least 4 tickets to be sold – and if it does not sell in that amount of time I would credit their account so they could apply it to another class in the future.

That is the definition of make – and I agree its not part of The Events Calendar right now – but maybe its a tweak – or perhaps a feature i’d be willing to fund.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Unfortunately, that is not a built-in functionality of our plugins.

However, it is possible to move tickets from one event to another, which may be useful if an event is cancelled. You can learn more about this in the following article > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-tickets/

Additionally, if you use Event Tickets Plus and sell your tickets using WooCommerce, you can handle tickets cancellations and refunds > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-cancel-tickets-order/
