Is Paid Event Submission Functionality Happening?

Hi Modern Tribe,

and given it is exactly what I have needed (the possibility to have users pay for events submitted or pay an annual subscription to post events) I was wondering if this add-on is in your development schedule and if so when would it be due out? It would be great to be able to avoid doing a hack with a membership plugin / hooks & filters etc. to make this happen.

Unfortunately, it is not in our development schedule and we do not have a timeline to add it in right now.

Considering there is 144 votes for this functionality update – I am surprised it is not on your development list. This must be one of the most demanded functionality adds of them all. Is there any reason why given this situation this update is not on the list?

Hi Michelle,

I agree 144 votes is a good number and it is something we are reviewing to work on adding it to the development roadmap.

If you take a look at the top feature requests here:

The Charge for Event Submission is number 10 on the list. So we can see the community would like this feature and we hope to get to is as we work our way down the list. We have started or already close to adding some of those features above it and then we will look at what we can do next and add this one to the list as we get the resources available to do it.
