Is it possible to use the Divi builder on the individual event listings?

Hi

I have a site that uses the Divi builder and we have recently set it up with the Events Calendar. However, we really want to be able to keep the look of the site consistent across the normal pages and events. Is it possible to use the Divi builder to customise the appearance of the individual events pages? For example here: http://gartmore.staging.wpengine.com/calendar/christmas-crafts-weekend-6th-8th-dec-2019/

Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support. The Divi building isn’t built in to the event posts. However, you can build a page in divi, switch to your editor, copy the code from the text tab and paste it into your event.

We found this extremely frustrating too. We found ways to edit the event page but it is very limited. You can try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you. However, the ticket bar (which is extremely ugly) still didn’t go away. So, we ended up creating our own event page with divi and linking tickets to the custom add to cart button. It’s not a great solution but it works.

The ability to use the Divi Builder on Custom Post Types (CPT’s), including The Events Calendar, was recently added in version 3.10 of Divi.

It looks like you are using 3.10.2, so you should be able to enable it in the Divi Theme Options. See attached.
