I am about to launch a tourism website that has over 50 different towns/posts and I need to have an events calendar for each town/post, so one town has its own post or webpage and a full description about that destination and I have accommodation links, food etc and also an events link that I need to be able to have an events calendar specific to that town only, then all the other towns I cover on my website to have their own specific individual events calendar also. If that is going to work on my website I also need to know how to set each one up for each town/post. Thank you. Regards Christian

There are a few ways I would suggest this. The first, using Events Calendar Pro, would be to use categories of the town name. Then display the calendars via a shortcode. We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ and Widget Shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ for Events Calendar Pro https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
The other option would be to use Filter Bar to achieve this. You can see it in action on the 2nd row at WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. Notice when you select different cities, a unique link is created in the address bar. You can use those links as custom menu links if you’d like.
Does that clear things up?
Thanks

I’ll look into the links you’ve provided.
On each ‘town page’ of our website we’ll have a link to events, like we do for accommodation, food, activities etc, so the events link will be where I would like the calendar to appear as its own page, if that make sense. I’ve already set up each of the events pages on the towns pages so it’s just the content or calendar I’d need to load, I’m not that experienced with all this so am struggling to work out how I’ll be able to achieve this.
Best Regards
Christian

I’d suggest using the category option in your events editor screen at the right side. List the towns as categories. Then using the shortcodes I shared above with a category filter, like this:
Full page:
[tribe_events view="month" category="TownNameHere"]
Smaller/sidebar widget anywhere:
[tribe_events_list category="TownNameHere"]
Let me know if either of these work well for you.
Thanks
