Is Event Tickets the right product for me ?

Hi,

I am creating a website for a wine tasting association, and I want to sell tickets for events. I have several specifications, and I wonder if Event tickets plus is customisable to meet those needs.

I need to :
– limit the amount sold par person (1 max)
– only allow some emails to purchase (those in …@essec.edu)
– have a waiting list
– send confirmation emails all at once after a human check up
– increase price if the email provided is not in the list of contributors

Do you think Event tickets can be a solution to my needs ?

I wish I could say that Event Tickets Plus is the best solution for you here, but I think it would fall short on most of those requirements. The plugin is great for basic ticket sales that are integrated with events, and it includes great sales reports as well a the ability to scan and check people into events, but limiting purchases, having a waiting list, dynamic pricing and selling to specific addresses are things that the plugin is unable to do at the moment.
