is Filter Bar Plugin work with free calendar plugin

I want to purchase the filter Bar plugin, can you please explain me if I purchase this plugin will this work with The Event Calendar Plugin (Free : https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) and which features will be covered within calendar plugin and filter plugin.
