Invalid user_key Error Importing from Eventbrite

When I try and import an event from Eventbrite, I get the error message Invalid user_key.
I have my Eventbrite API key entered under my WordPress user profile.

I am thinking that the problem may have something to do with the fact that I chose to set up a url for the event instead of going with the standard event id.

Hi, bikewinnipeg. Having a set URL is just fine, providing you still enter the Event ID when you’re connecting the two in your Event page on your WordPress site.

When you’re importing the event, are you signed into WordPress as the user who has the API Key listed in his/her profile?

I’ve got it working now. I think the difference was that I posted a dummy event from inside WordPress.
