Is there any way for me to insert some introductory text for the Submit an Event page?

Does this tutorial provide the information you are looking for? https://theeventscalendar.com/modifying-the-community-events-page-titles/

No, this is not the answer. I would like to have some introductory text before the submission form, explaining what types of events should be submitted and how they will be reviewed for approval. I do not want to change the titles, just add a paragraph of body text before the Form begins.February 20, 2014 at 4:18 pm #107267Julie KuehlParticipantHey robpoole,
Does is the information in our Themer’s Guide have what you are looking for then? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#customfiles You should be able to just add the text that you want into the template file.
Does that make sense?

I don’t know php, but I want to add some introductory text that would appear before the Submit event form appears. Can you guide me as to what an example of this code would be and then I can insert my text instead? I basically would like there to be a paragraph before the Submit Event form that explains the terms of submitting events and how they are approved. Just need an example of how to code this since I am not a programmer but I found the file.

If you’ve found the edit-event.php file then look for this code: https://cloudup.com/cSUYyWmjXb5 Can you see on lines 25-26 where I added some text? You can see how it displays here: https://cloudup.com/co7Dnp7NeaQ Is that what you were looking for?
