Matt
GuestTo whom it may concern,
We were looking to purchase your pro version, but wanted to make sure our requirements would be met.
Our requirements include:
be able to add picklist type fields
and salesforce integration upon submissionIf not, can we get help customizing the form submission to salesforce?
Thank you in advance!

ParticipantHey Matt,
Thanks for reaching out.
None of our plugins offer any Salesforce integration out-of-the-box, unfortunately. It’s possible to do it by way of custom coding, but to answer your other question about this, no, even with a premium license we would not be able to offer any assistance with custom coding. You can read more about this fact here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
As for “picklists”, this is not a term I’m familiar with. Some google searching makes it appear like this is itself a Salesforce feature. To the extent that it is, then what I wrote above applies.
However, if you just mean as piece of UI or UX design, can you elaborate on what you mean and share some screenshots or examples of “picklists”?
That information will help me better answer that aspect of your questions.
Cheers!

GuestThanks for you quick reply.
In terms of a picklist – what I meant was a drop down field where the user filling out the form can choose a single or multiple values.
In terms of inputting our own custom form that integrates with salesforce, would it be possible for you and/or premium support to help locate the code for the default form in the Events Calendar so we can replace it without breaking other fuctionality of the plugin?
Thank you again for your help.

ParticipantHey Matt,
Thanks for your clarification there. Based on your description of a picklist, I don’t think our plugins offer anything quite with that specific functionality.
One thing that might help is to check out our demo site’s events page here → http://wpshindig.com/events/
↑ On this page, play around with the “Narrow your results” options there. These are “filters” for events provided by our Filter Bar add-on, and all of the available field types our plugins support are demonstrated there in those filters. If there’s anything here close to a picklist how you envision it, let me know—if not, then unfortunately our plugins don’t provide any other type of field for choosing/selecting/entering values.
As for the integration with salesforce, the best thing I can share here is this overview of what support comes with a premium license → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
Locating code and providing that information is not something we’re really able to do, as all of the code is available right in the files of the plugin which you download. And so if you or a developer you hire is working on integrating the forms with your own custom code, you’ll have the form code itself to look at and refer to, plus the following documentation resources:
• Themer’s Guide → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
• The Knowledgebase in general → http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase
• Function reference → https://theeventscalendar.com/functionsI hope this helps!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
