Installed but menu missing

Hi

I see the Events in the main menu but nothing there to create new event – just setting, help and add ons!

HELP!

Also, what is the difference with using this opposed to regular WooCommerce products ?

Hi, Russell.

Event Tickets Plus requires the free/core Event Tickets plugin to work.

ET/ET+ can work with more than just our The Events Calendar plugin, but it sounds like you may not have that plugin active either.

Once all 3 of these are running (if you also want to use our events plugin), you should see “Events” menu options in your wp-admin menu.

Please let me know if this answers your menu issue.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

I am using WooCemmerce and have both Evens Tickets and Events Tickets Plus installed. Do I need Events calendar to make this work then ?

I have purchased The Events Calendar now – all seems to be working.

But…..

I am getting error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /homepages/1/d145433323/htdocs/clickandbuilds/UKChoirFestival/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1025

This is in the events screen – also I have two events but then are trying to appear side by side so are very truncated!

Seems to have resolved itself when deactivating the advanced posts plugin you recommend to use!
